This is the colored flat version of the Nady pic I drew. This is basically the color scheme unless I wanted to put a background in there. She asked me to draw and I did because I consider a good friend, but she didn't wanted me to color it for some reason.
So I decided to color it and this is how it turned out. The sheet is white, just add some grays and I'll be done. A rather simple drawing to do.

Mark of the Gods is on a Track
Well, another update. The MOTG project is staying on course and I got a heavy load to do. Not only being the character designer, I'm also story editor too. But still I'm having a blast in doing so. I will be posting some artwork within the next few days. Some from MOTG and some from freelance stuff I'm doing.
Stay tuned.

The artist is back
Like the title says, I'm back. I drew myself looking cool as ever as now I strive to get back to my old groove. This pic took me around 6 hours on and off to complete because I had to relearn PhotoShop all over again, but it was easy once I got the hang of it.Time to find the next the thing to work on.
Peace!
Finally back on the horse

Sorry for the late posts
Meanwhile, I've been practicing Photoshop lately and pretty got the hang of coloring, now it's time to find my own style of doing it. I'll be posting black and white pics of my characters from my Advent story soon.

Staying positive
Well, it's been a rough few days on the creative front. I've been on and off drawing because of work keeping me so damn busy. But oh well, I'm staying positive. I got a feeling that better things are line up for me.
Enough with the sad, sappy stuff. Let's talk about some art here, because this is a art blog. OK, as you may know that I was taking a vacation from Mutant Zone because I didn't want to get burned out on it, now I'm back on it. After I finish drawing a pic for a good friend of mine, I'll be continuing drawing the character designs for the Mutant Zone. Right now, Rick Atoms is next.

The Man behind the Art.

I was playing around with my webcam and decided to take some new pics of me since some of my friends tell me that I don't have enough pictures of me. They tell me the ones I have now make me look like a serial killer or that my eyes (my best feature) can look into a person's soul.
But anyway, even though Blogger has a display pic of me, I'm getting ready to update big time with my new pimp look. Oh yeah, just in case anybody is wondering, I'm doing the V sign from the game Viewtiful Joe, one of the best games of all time.

It's set in stone
Here's Rock Malcolm
Here he is, the man where my screen name is based from, Rock Malcolm. This character along with Flo and the rest of the Mutant Zone squad was the brain child of me and Scott back on '01 when Evolution and the animated series was out. As you may figured, Rock is the muscle of the team and along with Kobe, don't use a gun on their missions. He has a special weapon called the Knuckle Revolver where the bullets are stored in the wristband and are fired on contact through the opening on the knuckles. A detailed design of the Knuckle Revolver will come soon when I get done with all the human sketches first.

Rock Malcolm is coming
The character where I got my screen name from is coming soon. I'm doing some final touches on him and he'll be popping up shortly or within the next few hours or so. Like Flo, I'll be doing the front and back, finishing off with a reference sheet for the final pic.
I'm so excited about this project that I haven't thought about much of anything lately. I might be random sketches every now and then to keep my edge up.

Random sketch

I was drawing this sketch for a friend of mine but it turns out that she didn't like it because it was supposed to be a modern/female version of the March Hare from Alice in Wonderland. I drew the pic for her because it came out to be a Bunny Girl, which was the type she didn't want.
Oh well, I still like the pic and I'm posting here since it gave me a break from the Mutant Zone project. I might do more of these random sketches. Some will be for fun and others will be for boredom.
But here you go, the latest from yours truly himself:
