To Write or to Draw? That is the question

Hey guys, lately I've been in a bit of a conundrum as of late. With my new awesome job I got my money and freedom problems will be over soon, but that's not the case. As in the title, I've been torn between drawing more and writing.

I know the age old debate about people who are gifted in many areas, they get torn on what to focus on. Drawing is my first love, it's gotten me out of a depression and deal with some painful deaths in my early years. I've gotten into writing because of my lack of skills to be able to draw sequential art, which is needed for a comic artist, which is my dream. But, that artist has been sneaking out of me with these drawing sprees I have creating the characters for Bullet Kingdom as if describing them in full and utter detail wasn't good enough.

I guess there's that duality I'll just have to face as artist/writer. Lately, I've been content with character designs. I think Nomura Tetsuya is coming out of me since my designs as of late have been out of my comfort zone, but I actually like it. I know the greats do it all the time, but I wonder how do they focus. If their minds are anything like mine, they're always thinking of the next thing to make the story better or how to make one of the characters more badass than he or she is already is at that point.

I've been fighting with this for a while now, which explains my erratic posts in the art department. I might have a burst here or there, then I'll go back to writing. I know writing a novel can be hard, but I didn't know that it'll be fun and challenging at the same time. Remembering everything is the hard part. Thank GOD I got a journal so I can keep up with everything I write out the blue and the new trapper keeper I bought to keep the artwork safe.

Well, with my upcoming move to a new city and about to begin my new life sort to speak, I'll even be more sporadic than ever. I'll try to keep everyone updated.

Thanks for reading.
