New Art!

Hello everyone. I set this out to be published earlier than this, but I had an emergency and had to rush my mom to the hospital. She told me come home and relax because she didn't want me to worry. But she's doing fine now and will be staying the night possibly at St. Vincent's hospital.

Anyway, before all the craziness happened. I was on the phone with a friend of mine and she introduced me to her friend and it was kinda creepy how much we're alike and how we hit it off really easily. Is there something I'm missing here or is this a sign? Possible time for a vacation or relocation w/the help of Radio Shack of course. :P

So, on with the updates. I drew my good friend and muse, Heather "Izzy" Anderson, last night. I was suppose to draw something for her a few days ago, but it kinda was impossible because of the angle her picture was in. But never worry and hope shined through. She posted some new pics and I told her that I can draw one of the ones she put up much easier and faster than the other she requested. I'm done and she wanted it black and white, so I drew in a comic-art style that I've been working on. My pencil and ink shading sucks, but it came out good in the end.

I've also done a side-by-side. Now even though it's not perfect, it's close enough to her in my style as possible. Hope she likes it.

This is what happens when I'm bored

This pic here is what happens when it's 3 in the morning, can't sleep, and extremely bored. Things like this come out. This is me doing my best at smiling without it trying to make it look too evil or something. This was a random drawing anyway, so I was just having fun. Plus, it's time to have another display pic for some of the websites I visit. More randomness to come soon.

First Character designs

Hello everyone, the first character designs for the Mark of the Gods comic are up. The first is the main character, Long Sai-Yuk or Long for short. More drawings to come!

Finally got a title logo and symbols!

The Mark of the Gods comic finally has a logo. Took me a while to do it because I slightly created a font to go with it. But after a few hours of messing with it, finally got something I like.

On the flip side, I also inked in the Star Dragon symbol and to me, it looks kickass!

This is the title font for the comic. Well, work in process. Have to get final OK from Scott, but I think he might like it as much as I do.

Had to make it smaller, forgot I did this on 8 1/2" x 14" paper.

So much for updates for now. I'm doing doing the fighting sketch for a lovable main character, Chinese Star Dragon fighter, Long Sai Yuk.

Updates

Hello everyone, time for updates. Don't know how many are reading my blog right now, but if you are, thanks for looking and sorry for the lack of updates. My life has been busy of late. Right now, I'm full speed ahead on the Mark of the Gods comic. I'm designing the logo and title font for it now. I got the main characters, Team Star Dragon's logo done and will be posting it in the near future after I scan it in Photoshop.

I'm working on the other team logos as well and hope they come out good. But we'll see in the near future. Oh yeah, as of now, I have six more days until my b-day. 27 and counting. I feel like I haven't gotten anything done with my life, but now my mind is made up now.

So let's see how far my passion will take me. I'm NOT working at Radio Shack for the rest of life. I have a bigger part to play in this world. With the help of some friends for support and my stubborn/never-say-die attitude towards this goal, I got a feeling that I will make it.
